Experienced Visual Merchandiser and Stylist

I started working in retail at age 17, working as a sales associate for a local company called Warren's shoes. I excelled in sales and was given the opportunity to become a key holder, which lead to visual merchandising for the store along with sales. After working there while attending college, I was offered an opportunity to work for Dillard's as a Sales Associate in Ladies Shoes, where I gained more knowledge in the retail world. Around that time I started working behind the scenes for local photo shoots and gaining knowledge in on-set styling. Well into my Degree at the University of Central Arkansas, I realized my passion for fashion, however, was not willing to change my major so late into my degree. I continued on with Interior Design, but carried on with styling as well. I completed my internship with The Red Door Gallery and found the first job I was offered. For nearly four years I worked as Manager of The Jesse Law Firm. Meanwhile still freelancing in styling and Interior Design. I have continued to gain experience in Interior Design with freelance work. I was given the opportunity to intern with Sunday Hendrickson (Professional Interior Design Stylist) and Mark Lohman (Professional Photographer) and worked on a project which was published in Romantic Country  in November 2012. I currently hold the position as Visual Merchandiser and Stylist at Forever 21. I am always striving to improve and looking to gain experience through new opportunities.
